Cattle Bay lies 250 m west of Snug Cove and contains a curving 180 m long south-facing low energy reflective beach (NSW 683). The beach is crossed by a 140 m long jetty and largely backed by a fish processing plant, with steep vegetated bluffs along the boundaries. The beach is usually quiet however is little used for recreation. Immediately to the west is Cocora Beach (NSW 684); a 460 m long beach that faces southeast and receives low swell averaging about 0.5 m, which maintain a steep beach, fronted by a narrow shallow bar with no rips. Wooded slopes back the beach with a road terminating behind the centre of the beach, and 5 ha Cocora Lagoon backing the southern half. This is a usually quiet beach, but little used except by locals.
