Little Beach (NSW 672, also called Jiguma) lies 200 m south of Pambula Beach and is backed by a car park, park and residential development on the backing 70 m high ridge. The beach has shaly headlands at each end, is 360 m long and faces northeast out of the bay. It is afforded some protection from Haycock Point which extends 3 km to the east, with waves averaging about 1 m. These maintain an attached bar usually cut by three rips, including two against the boundary rocks. On the south side of the southern rocks is the mouth of the Pambula River, whose currents and shoals can impinge upon the southern parts of the beach. read more
