Kianinny Bay is the boat-launching ramp for Tathra. It is an interesting little bay located 1.5 km south of Tathra Head in a 20-50 m wide 200 m deep gap in the cliffs. It is almost invisible from the sea and has steep road access from Tathra, and a parking and picnic area beside the boat ramp and 20 m long beach (NSW 660). While waves are very low in the bay, the beach is not suitable for swimming as the bay is primarily used for boating. If you do go boating out of this bay for the first time, make sure you know how to find your way back in.
Beach Length: 0.2km
