Diggers Camp maintains the character of the series of older fishing settlements between Brooms Head and Wooli. The beach is readily accessible from the road that ends at the Camp. The Camp has two main beaches (Fig. 4.39). The northern beach (NSW 69) is wedged in between the northern rocks and consists of a curving 300 m long mixture of high tide sand and cobbles, for the most part fronted by 50 m wide intertidal rocks flats. There is only a central 50 m wide sandy entrance to the sea, which has a permanent rip flow seaward.
Beach Length: 0.3km
General Hazard Rating: 4/10
