To the north is Kellys Lake beach (NSW 577), which has a car park and on the northern boundary Grey Rocks and at the southern end. The beach is 1.1 km long curving to the south between the rocks and the base of the point, with a foredune then 6 ha Kellys Lake behind, the lake breaking our across the centre of the beach. A walking track leads from the southern car park to the lake mouth. Waves average 1.5 m in the north decreasing to 1m in lee of the point and maintain an attached bar with rip frequency and intensity increasing up the beach. There are rocks in the northern surf and a permanent rip against the northern rocks.
