The southern three beaches all face the southeast to east and receive waves averaging 1.5 m and share the same surf zone. They run in a line separated by small but jagged headlands backed by rocky bluffs rising to 20 m. The first (NSW 574) is just 60 m long with rock on the beach and in the surf and drained by one permanent rip. There is a small car park above the beach with a track down to the shore. The second (NSW 575) is 100 m long and backed by low dunes then vegetated slopes, with a small car park about the southern end of the each, It has permanent rips running out against the boundary rocks at each end. The third (NSW 576) is 300 m long with some active dunes behind and a small creek at the southern end, where it is bordered by the granite boulders of Grey Rocks. It can be accessed from a car park in lee of Grey Rocks. It usually has two rips including at time a strong rip flowing down the beach and out against the southern rocks, as well as a permanent rip against the northern rocks.
