Kainga (S) beach (NSW 595) commences on the southern side of the low rocky point and trends almost due south for 550 m to a low rock outcrop. It has a reef located 150-250 m off the centre of the beach, with waves averaging 1.5 m to maintain a rip in lee of the reef and against the northern rocks. It is backed by a narrow foredune, a grassy reserve, and the main drive then the Kianga subdivision. A vehicle track runs out onto the low southern headland providing parking, views and a grassy area.
Beach Length: 0.4km
