Blueys Beach (NSW 209) is almost a duplication of its northern neighbour Boomerang. It trends southwest for 900 m between Boomerang Point and Blueys Head, the latter is backed by steep vegetated slopes rising to a 216 m high hill. The beach is backed by a high foredune occupied by beachfront houses and backed by the narrow settlement of Blueys Beach. Car parking is available in the north, centre and south, with the southern end also offering a small reserve and best access to the beach, along with a small creek that runs through the reserve and across the beach. Waves averaging 1.6 m interact with the medium beach sand to maintain a single usually detached bar cut by 3-4 beach rips and strong permanent rips against each headland (Fig. 4.119).
Beach Length: 0.975km
General Hazard Rating: 6/10
