Entrance Beach (NSW 128) is located on the south side of Nambucca North Head in a 100 m wide gap between the north entrance wall of the Nambucca River and Wellington Rocks. The wall was constructed in 1890 and lowers waves entering the break to form a steep beach 100 m long beach, with a permanent rip running out along the rocks. This beach is backed by a caravan park and can be reached by walking over or around the point from the Shelly Beach car park.
