Towra Spit (BB 20) forms the western arm of Towra Point. It is a crenulate 800 m long southwest-trending dynamic sand spit that terminates in the entrance to Towra Bay. It is a moderately steep beach with seagrass growing almost to the shore. The main Towra Beach (BB 21) commences at the low sandy point and trends southeast for 1.1 km, terminating as it merges with mangroves. It is fronted by a mix of sand flats and seagrass meadows.
