Beach NSW 453 is located towards the southern end of a 750 m long section of 15 m high rocky bluffs backed by the main Berrara settlement. The sandy high tide beach curves for 130 m below the bluffs and is fronted by continuous, though irregular intertidal rocks flats and extensive reefs, with a rip flowing out of a central channel in the rocks. A car park and playground are located on the bluffs overlooking the beach. It’s a nice spot to sit or play on but unsuitable for swimming owing to the rocks.
Beach Length: 0.05km
General Hazard Rating: 3/10
