One hundred metres east of the pool beach is a 100 m wide north-facing rocky bay containing beach NSW 471W. This consists of a strip of high tide sand fronted by 40 m wide intertidal rock flats, with low waves only reaching the beach at high tide. Another 150 m to the east in the next rocky bay is beach NSW 471. This is a curving 150 m long, north-facing reflective beach, bordered by rock platforms and points extending 200 m northward on either side. The beaches are backed by wooden slopes rising to 20 m and can only be access on foot via the blufftop caravan park.
