Happy Valley beach (FR8D) runs for 7 km from Chard Rocks to Rainbow Gorge and includes the beach resort and camping area at Happy Valley (actually two small adjoining valleys). It also includes the Enchanted Valley and the small settlements at the Oaks and on protruding Yidney Rocks. The beach ends at the colourful Rainbow Valley. Beach conditions remain the same, with a rip-dominated inner bar, trough and outer bar. The backing 100 m high dune field contains Yidney Lake, Lake Garawongera and the Kirrar sand blow.
