North of the bluff beach 218 continues on for 1.5 km to Blanche Point a 30 m high headland cut in crumbling sedimentary rocks, with a 100 m wide intertidal rock platform and some sea cave cut into the base of the cliff. Bluffs and reefs fringe the beach, while a continuous bar usually cut by three rips parallels the beach.
