At Cape Jervis is the small harbour that houses the ferry terminal for the Kangaroo Island ferry, together with a boat ramp. Since the harbour was constructed a small steep 40 m wide beach (187) has formed inside the harbour between the eastern harbour wall and the jetty rocks. The beach is now used for launching small boats.
