Deep Creek beach (179) is located at the mouth of a winding, deep narrow valley, with the valley sides protruding 200 m seaward of the beach and offering s moderate degree of protection. The little cobble and sand beach is only 50 m wide at its mouth, but extends 100 m into the valley mouth as sand and cobble overwash flats and minor dunes, with the creek flowing against the western side of the beach. The only access to the beach is via the Heysen walking track, with the closest car park 2 km away at Tapanappa Lookout.
