Flynn Beach is the northern beach in Cat Bay. Ventnor Road runs behind the low dune field that covers the bluffs backing the beach, with car parks at the northern and southern ends. The 1.3 km long beach is bounded by Flynn Reef in the north and similar reefs to the south. The beach faces west-south-west and receives waves averaging 0.6 m. These produce a steep, narrow beach, which widens as the tide falls. A narrow cobble beach lies between the sand and the bluffs.
Beach Length: 1.3km
General Hazard Rating: 4/10
