Groper Bay is bordered in the east by Point Matthew and contains the small beach WA 614. This is a steep 80 m long low energy boulder beach wedged in between sloping, ridged granite rocks and backed by wind blasted vegetation rising to 20 m. Three hundred metres to the west is adjoining Ringbolt Bay and beach WA 615. It is a sandy 150 m long reflective beach, bordered by ridges of granite and backed by vegetated slopes. A vehicle track runs out from the road to the beach and a car park. If faces due south and receives waves averaging about 1 m.
