Beach WA 639 is 200 m long and fronted by a continuous supratidal rocks, with subtidal rock reefs then extending a few hundred metres offshore. It is distinguished by an active blowout that backs the beach. Beach WA 640 commences 200 m to the north and is a 300 m long strip of high tide sand fronted by linear granite ridges across the inter- and supratidal, with only one small area free of rocks at the southern end of the beach. It is backed by a series of small blowouts, then rising vegetated dunes. Beach WA 641 lies 100 m to the north and is a straight 300 m long high tide sand beach fronted by a 100 m wide band of subtidal rock reefs, with waves breaking on the outer reefs, and relatively calm conditions at the shore. An unstable foredune then vegetated transgressive dunes back the beach.
