Beach WA 623 commences on the northern side of the calcarenite point and trends north-northwest for 700 m to the next narrow calcarenite point, which is capped by a clifftop blowout. Waves average about 1-1.5 m and maintain a low tide terrace with occasional rips forming, particularly amongst the rocks at the northern end of the beach. It is backed by vegetated 30-40 m high calcarenite bluffs.
