Beach WA 731 is located 1.5 km due east of the cape and consists of a 400 m long strip of high tide sand fronted by an irregular granulite series of rocks and reefs, in places extending 100 m offshore, with deeper reef further out. The Docks reef break is located over the reefs and works during higher swell. The beach is backed by vegetated calcarenite bluffs rising to 40 m with a 4 WD track along the top of the bluffs.
