Beach WA 728 commences 1 km south of Gull Rock and curves round in a small rock-filled embayment for 300 m. A mixture of irregular rock platforms, rocks and reefs lie off the west-facing beach, with some tidal pools in against the shore and numerous rock outcrops along the beach. Waves average over 1.5 m and break across the rocks and reefs up to 100 m offshore. The Windmills surf break is located over these reefs.
