Melros beach (WA 774) commences at the next major beachrock-induced inflection in the shore (Fig. 4.162). Wave break around the boundary reef generating a usually small lefthand surfing break. The beach extends for 1.3 km with a series of beachrock outcrops both on and off the shore, resulting in variable wave height and inshore topography. A foredune reserve, then the Melros settlement and caravan park backs the beach, with a large central beachfront car park and boat ramp. Florida beach consists of two parts (WA 775 & 776), which are both bordered by beachrock outcrops and adjoining reefs
