Beach WA 788 starts in lee of a beachrock ridge, with a quiescent ‘lagoon' for the first 100 m, then continues north for 800 m as steep reflective beach, to the next section of beachrock. The 100 m wide foredune-foreshore reserve continues along the beach, with Halls Head road backing the dune, then houses. A large car park is located at the southern end in lee of the reef.
