The Kwinana boat harbour consists of two shore parallel groynes spaced 100 m apart and extending 100 m into the sound, to a shore parallel breakwater, which all but enclose the harbour apart from a 30 m wide entrance. Sand has accumulated in the harbour forming a vegetated beach ridge, and curving 80 m long beach
