Immediately east of the point is a north-facing 50 m long strip of high tide sand (WA 805) bordered to the east by a vegetated calcarenite bluff, and fronted by 50-100 m wide calcarenite reefs, with sand further out. Waves are usually low to calm. Walking tracks from nearby car parks provide access to the entire cape area
