Beach WA 801 lies immediately to the west and consists of a 60 m long pocket of sand wedged between the southern-most calcarenite outcrops of Point Peron (Fig. 4.175). The beach faces southwest, but is protected by a band on intertidal beachrock and reefs further out. At high tide low waves reach the shore, which is backed by a fenced 20 m high partly active foredune
