Two kilometres south of Cowrie Cove a rocky point extends 300 m out from the steep cliffed shoreline to impound beach WA 1795. It is a 200 m long east-facing sandy beach wedged between 30 m high bedrock slopes to the north and a point composed of large boulders to the south. It is backed by dunes that ramp up to 15 m high against the backing slopes and include some reddish early Holocene dunes.
