Beach WA 848 lies immediately to the north and is a similar 70 m long pocket of high tide sand, fronted by the continuous platform. A walking track from the northern bluff runs down to the centre of the beach. All six beaches usually receive waves averaging about 1 m, with lower waves at the shore owing to the reefs and platforms. Use care if swimming at any of these beaches as rocks and reefs abound, and during higher waves strong rips are present. The suburb of North Beach has a 1.2 km long west-facing oceanfront consisting of 10-20 m high calcarenite bluffs, with four beaches (WA 849-852) located along their base. The West Coast Highway runs along the top of the bluffs providing good access to all the beaches.
Beach Length: 0.07km
General Hazard Rating: 5/10
