Horseshoe Bay is the largest bay on Magnetic Island and contains the longest and most popular beach. Located on the north-eastern end of the island, the bay is protected from the Trades and usually offers low waves and excellent swimming conditions. White Lady Rock Beach (MT22) is a 200 m long, straight strip of west facing sand out on the western side of White Lady Rock. The narrow beach is fronted by a fringing coral reef that increases in width from 20 m in the south to 100 m at the rock.
