Pearl Point is the first major headland after Point Hicks; a distance of 36 km. The point is composed of steeply dipping sandstone and shales. Low outcrops of these rocks form the boundaries of this 500 m long beach. The point also partially protects the beach, and waves average 1.3 m. The beach can be reached via the road and 4WD track from Bemm River, with an informal parking and camping area behind the low foredune. The beach faces the south and usually has an attached bar cut by strong permanent rips against the boundary rocks, with another one or two rips along the beach.
Beach Length: 0.5km
