Between Cape Conran and Point Ricardo is an 11.5 km long, south facing beach. The Marlo - Cape Conran road runs behind the beach; however the easiest access is on the western side of Cape Conran and at Point Ricardo, where there are sealed roads and car parks. The beach receives waves averaging 1.5 m. The eastern end has medium sand which produces a steep beach face, usually fronted by a narrow bar; with a deep trough running between the beach and the outer bar. Toward Point Ricardo, the sand fines, the inner bar widens and rips increase on the inner bar. The point is a sandy foreland in lee of offshore reefs.
Beach Length: 9km
