A few hundred metres west of where the Clinton Rocks Track reaches the coast, are a series of rounded granite rocks and points, that form the boundaries of the three Clinton Rocks West Beaches. All three are only accessible by foot along the beach and around the low rocks, with the closest vehicle access (4WD) being at Clinton Rocks.
All three face due south and are backed by 20 to 30 m high, predominantly vegetated dunes. The first two beaches (62, 63) are relatively small and are dominated by the surrounding rocks and reefs. Both have relatively steep beach faces and permanent rips flowing along the beach and out by the rocks at each end. The third beach (64) is 800 m long and has rips both against the rocks and every 250 m along the beach. All three are connected by a continuous outer bar, lying up to 200 m off the beaches, which has more widely spaced rips.
Beach Length: 0.25km
